Assisted Waste Collection Service
Need help putting out your bins? The City’s Waste Services offers assistance to seniors or people with disability who are unable to take their bins out to the kerb on their bin day.
You may also be eligible for an additional 140L general waste bin if you have a medical condition that results in additional waste. A letter from a medical practitioner must accompany your application.

A carer is someone who provides unpaid personal care, support and assistance to family members and/or friends with disability, mental illness, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issues, or who are frail aged.
Carers make a significant difference in the lives of the people they care for, and also make an invaluable social and economic contribution through the support they provide.
