Christmas Lights Launch

Rockingham Foreshore lit up at the official launch of the City’s Christmas lights display.

There was plenty of festive fun for the whole family, including a visit from Santa, stage performances, an Adventure Zone, roaming entertainment, children’s crafts, market stalls, a snow pit and snowball target zone, food vendors and the turning on of the Christmas lights at 8pm.

New Year's Eve

We welcomed 2026 in style with our premier annual event on New Year's Eve.

Sheppard took the stage between the 9pm and midnight fireworks. There was also roaming entertainment, amusement rides, face painting, children's craft activities, a low-sensory chill-out zone and food vendors.

Celebrate Australia Day

We celebrated our nation with a special event for the whole community at the iconic Rockingham Foreshore.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, including a fireworks display, stage performances, roaming entertainment, children's activities, amusement rides, food vendors and more.

Symphony on the Green

  • Date: Saturday 21 February 2026
  • Time: 5.30pm – 9pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

Symphony returned to the Village Green for a spectacular evening of live music under the stars.

Led by conductor Jen Winley, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra performed a vibrant mix of iconic and much-loved music from popular culture, supported by guest artists Annie Aitken, Lorina Gore and Dr Matt Styles.

Performance in the Park

  • Date: Saturday 18 April 2026
  • Time: 4.30pm – 7.30pm
  • Location: Baldivis Sports Complex, Eighty Road, Baldivis

We brought the magic of puppets to Baldivis with an afternoon of interactive performances by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. 

Visitors explored the world of giant puppets with The Whale, String Symphony and the buzzing activity of The Hive. Families enjoyed hands‑on fun, children’s activities, food trucks and plenty of entertainment throughout the evening.
