LibraryCraft is a free Minecraft server for young people aged 7 to 17 years of age. It has multiple worlds and game modes, to allow for various styles of gameplay as single or multiplayer.

Players can:

  • Build a home on the Survival world
  • Create anything in the Creative world
  • Enter one of the monthly competitions
  • Get the high score on the Parkour course
  • Play some TNT Run, BedWars or KitPVP with a friend

This site is a “whitelisted server” accessible only to young people aged 7 to 17 years of age, and the game moderators are there to help players if they get lost or stuck, to offer advice, judge the competitions, and create awesome content for the players. They also ensure player safety online, making sure the rules are followed for the safety of all involved.

To play, you will need a registered copy of Minecraft Java Edition.

Each library has collections for young adults. These collections are separate from the adult and junior collections and includes novels, non-fiction, graphic novels, magazines and audio-visual material. You can also make suggestions for items to be purchased for the collection.

There are study spaces in all shapes and sizes at each of our libraries. There are areas for group study and areas for individual study. There is no need to book a space, just come along and set yourself up. If you require study materials such as paper or pens just ask one of the friendly library staff.

Public access computers are available at all of the libraries and each library has free WiFi.
