Veterans Memorial Park

Overview

Veterans Memorial Park is home to a large memorial display dedicated to the fallen soldiers. Services are held at this location on key dates. The opposite side of Veterans Memorial Park offers a playspace and skate park area.

The newly renovated skate park is the largest in the City. Skate features at the park include a raised bowl, adjacent snake run, and a large street line including ramps and a manual pad.

In addition to the skate design, the park also incorporates a basketball half court, two sheltered seating areas, a drinking fountain and bike racks, with visitors to the park being able to use skateboards, scooters or BMX bikes. Bike racks are available.

Relax under the gazebos and make use of the barbecues for a family picnic while the kids play at the small playground or enjoy the skate park.

There is an open off-leash dog exercise area for dogs that will respond to their owner's commands. Please remember that at all times you are responsible for your dog's actions, either on or off a lead.
