Our Breakthrough Music Competition aims to showcase the talents of local aspiring musicians aged 12-24 years. The competition provides local individuals and groups who can sing or play an instrument an opportunity to experience performing at a public place in front of an audience. The competition also provides great local exposure within the community which can result in additional performance opportunities at future events within the City of Rockingham.
2023 Breakthrough Music Competition
The 2023 competition was held in November at various locations around the City. The heats showcased some great solo artists, duos, trios and bands as they competed for the top spot in this year's competition and the chance to win studio recording time, interviews on local radio, cash prizes and performance opportunities.
